Summary:
The AITVM-STVM conference entitled “Tropical Animal Diseases and Veterinary Public Health: Joining Forces to Meet Future Global Challenges“ will be THE meeting-place for all colleagues with an interest in tropical veterinary medicineand animal production. The conference will bring together animal health and production experts, senior and junior career researchers and students from the North and the South, the East and the West. Together, they will contribute to solutions for the improvement of human and animal health in tropical regions through enhancement of research, training and education. Special emphasis is directed towards animal and zoonotic disease control, food safety, genetic resources and biodiversity, sustainable rural development and animal production, capacity building and animal welfare.
